Original unique analog 'Polaroid SX-70 Manipulations'. This photo was taken with the Polaroid SX-70 Land camera. The American Edwin Land, who developed the Polaroid process in 1948, introduced this 'Vintage Polaroid SX-70 Single Lens Reflex Land Camera' in 1972. The 'instantly ready photos' from this camera could be manipulated for 20 minutes after exposure, be done with a spatula. The photographic emulsion was then still soft and so one could paint photographically. David McGlynn, Andy Warhol and Nobuyoshi Araki were also avid users of this camera. The accompanying photo is therefore a unique copy, framed and put in a 35x28 cm passe-partout. Scans have been made of these Polaroids and Chromogenic Prints on Glossy Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper can be ordered in the format 60x50 cm in a limited edition of a maximum of 25 copies for € 175 (excluding frame, 9% VAT and shipping costs).
